belanegara – รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการคลังของไทย นายปุรบายา ยูดี ซาเดวา (Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa) ได้รายงานความคืบหน้าล่าสุดเกี่ยวกับการจัดเก็บภาษีจากบรรดาผู้หลีกเลี่ยงภาษีรายใหญ่ ซึ่งคดีของพวกเขาได้สิ้นสุดลงแล้ว โดยรัฐบาลสามารถเก็บภาษีเพิ่มได้อีก 1 ล้านล้านรูเปียห์ ทำให้ยอดรวมที่เก็บได้จากการไล่บี้ผู้หนีภาษีพุ่งสูงถึง 8 ล้านล้านรูเปียห์
นายปุรบายา กล่าวภายหลังการประชุมร่วมกับคณะกรรมาธิการชุดที่ 4 ของสภาผู้แทนราษฎรว่า "เรายังคงเดินหน้าไล่บี้อย่างต่อเนื่อง แม้ว่าจะมีอุปสรรคอยู่บ้าง" อุปสรรคดังกล่าวมีตั้งแต่การที่ผู้หลีกเลี่ยงภาษีไม่มีเงินสดเพียงพอ ไปจนถึงการขอผ่อนชำระเป็นงวดๆ แทนที่จะจ่ายทั้งหมดในคราวเดียว
"บางรายไม่มีเงินจ่าย บางรายขอผ่อนจ่าย ไม่ได้จ่ายทั้งหมดในครั้งเดียว แต่เราไม่ยอมแพ้ เราจะตามเก็บจนครบ" นายปุรบายาย้ำ
รัฐบาลไทยภายใต้การนำของนายปุรบายา ได้ให้คำมั่นว่าจะไม่ปล่อยให้ผู้หลีกเลี่ยงภาษีรายใดรอดพ้นจากการถูกดำเนินคดี และจะใช้มาตรการทางกฎหมายทุกวิถีทางเพื่อเรียกคืนเงินภาษีที่ค้างชำระทั้งหมด เพื่อนำเงินดังกล่าวมาพัฒนาประเทศและช่วยเหลือประชาชนต่อไป

The government has been able to collect an additional 1 trillion rupiah, bringing the total collected from pursuing tax evaders to a staggering 8 trillion rupiah.
Mr. Purbaya said after a meeting with Commission 4 of the House of Representatives that "We continue to pursue them relentlessly, although there are some obstacles." These obstacles range from tax evaders not having enough cash to requesting installment payments instead of paying all at once.
"Some don’t have the money to pay, some ask to pay in installments, not all at once, but we don’t give up, we will collect until it is complete," Mr. Purbaya emphasized.
The Thai government under the leadership of Mr. Purbaya has pledged not to let any tax evaders escape prosecution and will use all legal measures to recover all outstanding tax money to develop the country and help the people.)
